DATACENTRE.ME (DCME) is an established & respected data centre events company and, as such, the greatest care and attention is being taken when putting together an interesting, informative & compelling event.

We invite you to join us from the comfort and convenience of your home or office. This virtual event is literally at your fingertips… on your computer, mobile phone or other device. We invite you to step in and explore the exhibition hall where you will discover the very latest industry products & services and, of course, you will have the chance to catch up with your go-to favourite vendors too. You will be able to view, save and email documents & videos available on the exhibition booths and, if you need more information, you will have the ability to communicate with the exhibitors via your choice of text, audio and video chat, all within the confines of the virtual event platform…. Enjoy the conference programme or hang out in the networking lounge, inviting other attendees to join in group conversations or for a general catch up. Prizes will be on offer to those registrants who are the most active during the live days and explore and network the most.

Despite this being a virtual event, the exhibition floor & conference auditorium will have a very similar look and feel to the physical events that we are all so familiar with. The virtual environment will be extremely easy-to-navigate for all visitors & sponsors and there will be helpdesk to assist should you experience any difficulties on the live days. We fully understand that many people feel that nothing really beats face to face networking however there are several advantages with an online event of this nature; the main ones being a) this gives us the ability to continue to offer a safe way of networking and meeting new contacts during these times of social distancing and b) the geographical borders are removed therefore allowing attendance from industry professionals from all around the world but without the inconvenience and cost of travelling and being away from home.

We can set up virtual meetings for you ahead of the live days of the event should you wish. All you need to do is complete the relevant sections in the registration form. You will have the opportunity of adding some keywords into your registration form which will allow us to match you with some of our exhibitors and sponsors if that would be of interest. In exactly the same fashion as with our face to face end user networking events, end user tickets will be free of charge. Each complimentary end user registration will be carefully checked and verified to ensure the highest calibre of attendee.

THE CONFERENCE PROGRAM

We are excited to be producing an informative and engaging conference program for the data centre industry. Unlike many other event organisers, we do not believe in selling conference sessions to vendors and manufacturers with the purpose of them presenting sales pitches to our audience. On the contrary, our conference will be brimming with as many end users and other top-level industry professionals as possible.

Day One will comprise of various not-to-be-missed thought leadership sessions to include panel discussions, case studies, fireside chats and other valuable insights and conversation.

Day Two will be dedicated to hosting accredited CPD training sessions and case studies from well-respected industry specialists. A day not to be missed for any consultant, architect, installer, engineer etc within the data centre field as this day will provide a key factor when it comes to attaining or maintaining your professional qualifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • While we are unable to network face to face in the traditional fashion, this virtual exhibition will give us all the opportunity to connect with data centre professionals from the comfort & safety of your home or office
  • Visit the virtual exhibition booths of industry experts to download documents, watch videos and ask questions in very much the same way as you would at a real exhibition
  • Network with peers & data centre professionals
  • Tune in and participate with our conference programme – you will have the opportunity to ask any burning questions you might have in the live Q&As associated with each session
  • Access numerous accredited CPD sessions
It is impossible to know exactly how many will register to attend this inaugural virtual event however we have already gained a highly-recognised & well-respected brand and a loyal following on both the sponsor and end user front. As such, we regularly achieve circa 400 registrations for our face to face events in London so we feel that it’s more than realistic to expect that we will be able to attract a similar number of attendees to this virtual event. Of course, the main benefit for an online event as opposed to a physical one, is that there are no geographical barriers meaning that we can safely assume that we will attract an international audience.

You must be what we class as “vendor neutral” and able to buy from or specify products and services from all or many of our exhibitors in order to qualify for a free ticket. If you actively sell or promote any products or services for yourselves or any third parties you will be classed as a vendor and, as such, will need to purchase a ticket. Typical job titles that register to attend our events free of charge are as follows:

  • CEOs | CIOs | CTOs | CFOs | Procurement Directors | Managing Directors | VPs and other senior directors
  • Senior Engineers | Architects | Senior Consultants | Cost Consultants | Project Directors | Quantity Surveyors
  • Data Centre Managers | Project Managers | Installers
We are LinkedIn with over 10,000 industry professionals around the globe and we will be contacting these members directly to invite them to support the event. We will, of course, be launching an extensive social media campaign to raise awareness of the event and to encourage as many registrations as possible. We will also be contacting everyone in the DCME database via carefully targeted direct e-mailings. Sponsors will be included within many of these emails and social media messages.
  • The exhibition will run across 2 live days so you will be able to dip in and out as your schedule allows
  • Don’t miss all that the conference program has to offer. Make sure you check the pre-advertised schedule so you don’t miss any sessions!
  • The whole event will be hosted for a period of 30 days once the live days have been and gone. This means that all the conference sessions and exhibition booths will remain available to view / download for 30 days post-event so, if you do happen to miss anything, you will be able to log in and access all this information on-demand. Although the live networking will no longer be on offer at this point, you will still be able to communicate with exhibitors via email
  • By completing certain actions on the two live days (such as visiting various exhibition booths, chatting with exhibitors and attending various conference sessions) you will gain points within the Leaderboard
  • The winners will be the attendees with the most points at the end of Day 2 (Wednesday 7th October)
  • The competition is open to FREE end user ticket holders only
